Mexico, 2006. As part of the 100th anniversary celebration of Cemex, the global leader in the building materials industry with over 100 years of experience and presence in more than 50 countries, we had a big challenge ahead of us: design and build a 1,200 square maters interactive pavilion to tell the story of the organisation, from Mission and Vision to their international presence.
After many months going through a 600 pages long briefing document and many meetings between Monterrey and Mexico DF, the pavilion was launched on Centro Banamex, in Mexico DF, for 4 days. Afterwards it was rebuilt in the Books Fair in Monterrey for another 4 days, in Cintermex as a semi-permanente installation and for 6 months at the MARCO, the Monterrey Museum of Contemporary Art.
